Create a New Workspace

You can create and purchase additional workspaces (organisations) directly from your Emalc dashboard to keep your clients, brands, or projects cleanly separated.

When to Create a New Workspace#

Create a dedicated workspace whenever you need:

  • Separate Client Accounts: Marketing agencies managing multiple clients with separate invoices and domains.
  • Multiple Brands / E-commerce Stores: Running multiple businesses from one central login without mixing subscriber databases or sending reputations.
  • Staging / Testing Environments: Testing API automations and webhooks without impacting production contacts.

Prerequisites#

Before creating an additional workspace, confirm these two requirements:

  1. Business Email Account: Your Emalc account must be registered with a company or custom domain email (e.g. you@yourcompany.com). Free webmail providers like Gmail, Yahoo, and Outlook are not supported for multi-organisation creation.
  2. Wallet Balance: A one-time workspace creation fee of $20.00 is deducted from your active organisation's credit wallet.

Wallet Top-Up

If your current balance is below $20.00, go to Settings → Billing & Credits (or click Wallet in your top navigation) to add funds before launching the creation dialog.

Step-by-Step Creation Guide#

  1. Open your Emalc dashboard.
  2. Click your Workspace Name at the very top of the left sidebar to open the organisation switcher.
  3. At the bottom of the dropdown menu, click + New Organization.
  4. In the creation dialog:
    • Organization Name: Enter your brand or company name (e.g., Acme Media or Store Front B).
    • Website URL: Enter your company website (optional).
    • Creation Fee: Review the one-time $20.00 workspace creation fee.
    • Agreement: Check the confirmation box accepting the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
  5. Click Create Organization.

Your new workspace will be provisioned immediately, and your dashboard will automatically switch to your new environment.

Next Steps for Your New Workspace#

Once your new workspace is active:

  1. Add Sending Domains →: Add and verify DNS records (DKIM, SPF, DMARC) for your new brand's domain.
  2. Upload Contacts →: Import subscriber CSVs or set up automated contact synchronization.
  3. Invite Team Members: Head to Settings → Team to grant specific team members or clients access to this workspace.
