Overview
Emalc is a modern email platform built for both developers and marketing teams. Whether you're integrating high-throughput delivery with our powerful APIs or designing and broadcasting campaigns through an intuitive dashboard — Emalc gives you everything you need in one unified workspace.
Before you begin#
Before creating your Emalc account, make sure you have the following:
| Requirement | Details |
|---|---|
| Business email address | You must sign up with a work email — e.g. you@yourcompany.com. Free email providers like Gmail, Yahoo, and Outlook are not supported. |
| A domain you own | You'll need access to your domain's DNS settings to verify it for sending. |
Why business email?
Emalc is designed for professional senders. A business email helps verify your organisation's identity and protects sender reputation across all users on the platform.
What Emalc does#
Emalc handles every layer of email delivery so you don't have to:
- Marketing campaigns — Create, design, schedule, and broadcast email campaigns to your entire audience with just a few clicks.
- Audience management — Organise contacts into groups, track opt-ins, and automatically suppress unsubscribers and bounces.
- Delivery intelligence — Built-in SPF, DKIM, and DMARC enforcement ensures your emails land in the inbox, not spam.
- Real-time analytics — Track opens, clicks, bounces, complaints, and delivery events as they happen.
- Outbound emails & inspection — Inspect every email sent — view full HTML previews, verify deliverability, and track opens and clicks in real time.
Platform architecture#
Emalc is built as a multi-tenant SaaS platform. Every organisation operates in full isolation — separate contacts, campaigns, domains, and settings. This means your data is never mixed with another organisation's data.
Where all your sending domains, contacts, and campaigns live together
You can be a member of multiple organisations — useful if you manage email for more than one brand or business.
Key concepts#
Organisations#
An Organisation is your workspace inside Emalc. All your domains, contacts, and campaigns belong to an organisation. When you first sign up, you'll create your first organisation and can invite team members to join.
Managing multiple brands or clients?
You can create and purchase additional organisations at any time right from your dashboard sidebar. Each organisation operates with completely separate contacts, sending domains, campaigns, and dedicated billing. Learn how to manage organisations →
Domains#
A Domain is the sending address for your emails (e.g. hello@yourcompany.com). You must verify your domain with SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records before you can send campaigns. This protects your sender reputation and improves inbox delivery.
Important
Without a verified domain, you cannot send any campaigns. Adding and verifying a domain is the first step after signing up.
Contacts & Audience#
A Contact is a person in your email list — identified by their email address. Contacts can be:
- Organised into Groups for targeted sending
- Suppressed if they unsubscribe, bounce, or complain
- Imported in bulk via CSV
Campaigns#
A Campaign is a marketing email sent to a group of contacts. You can design the email, pick your audience, schedule a send time, and track results — all from the dashboard.
Quick start#
Get up and running in minutes:
- Create your account — Sign up at emalc.com with your business email and create your organisation.
